Ready to start 2027 with a bang? Imagine ocean breezes, epic sunsets, boho island bars, and a lot of magic. Welcome to Bucketlist Bali NYE! The perfect blend of chill, wild, and unforgettable. We’ll cruise through Ubud on ATVs, hop between dreamy islands in Gili, and wrap up the year with a massive NYE countdown at Bali’s most iconic beach club. This isn’t just a vacation - it’s how you start your new year the right way!
Picture this: tropical days, lush greenery, and the buzz of excitement in the air as we get ready to bring in the New Year. We start in Ubud, where we’ll ATV through jungle trails and chill by waterfalls that seem straight out of a dream. Next stop: Gili Air, a no-car paradise where the sunsets are epic and the island-hopping is next-level. And of course, we finish in Uluwatu, exploring coastal vibes, and Bali’s wildest NYE beach party. The countdown to 2027? You’ll be dancing, laughing, and maybe even shedding a few happy tears.
From the calm of the jungle to the laid-back island life, and finally to the NYE madness, this trip is an absolute game-changer. By the time the first sunrise of 2027 hits, you’ll know this wasn’t just a trip: it was a wild, unforgettable ride.

A note from the curators
There are many ways to explore Indonesia. This is one of our favourites.
Ask your favourite AI for a trip and you will usually get a perfectly sensible TripAdvisor checklist: famous stop, quick photo, next stop. That is not how we want you to experience Indonesia.
We plan the hard-to-reach magic, then leave room for detours, long conversations and the moments no schedule can manufacture. After every edition, we keep what worked, change what did not and make this journey better.

What are you really signing up for?
01
The Journey
Designed with intention, improved every time we run it and stripped of checklist filler. The whole journey, with room to actually be there.
02
The Facilitator
A real ExCo facilitator, not someone reading from a tour-bus script. They know when to lead, bring people together and give you room.
03
The Tribe
We keep a strong noise filter, so the people beside you when the moment lands are fun, curious and full of life.
Who is it for?
For people who want the whole trip, with room to breathe.
You want days that feel full, not rushed: the hard parts handled, the good moments given time, and people worth sharing them with.

The big moments
The bits you will tell first.
The moments worth building the trip around.

Why community × travel
Travel is the catalyst. Community is what stays.
Twelve years ago, we started creating journeys in the hope that the right people, in the right place, could make something unrepeatable happen. From roadtrips across Iceland to sake crawls through Japan, that belief has only grown stronger.
Every creator, artist, rebel and doer deserves a space to travel with people they vibe with, to places that make them feel infinite. Across BHX, Festival of X and Bucketlist, travel has never been the finish line. It opens conversations, friendships and the kind of magic that is hard to explain once you are home.

Notes for you
Across the 12 months ending 29 July 2026, our travelled groups were close to balanced, with about 55% women and 44% men. The median traveller was 34 and the median group had 9 people. That is a historical snapshot, not a promise about the mix on a specific edition.
We design each edition around the destination rather than using a standard tour template. The usual rhythm is one or two experiences a day, with room to take the place in instead of rushing through a checklist.
Yes. Anyone aged 18 or older can apply. Our groups often skew from the late 20s to early 40s, but fit, energy and the experience itself matter more than fitting a narrow age band.
Yes. You can apply solo or with someone you know.
You'll fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar/Bali). Airport transfers aren't included in the edition price, so you'll need to arrange your own pickup or share a cab with fellow travelers landing around the same time — we'll drop a group chat beforehand so you can coordinate and split costs.
Included: accommodation, all listed activities (ATV adventure, cycling, Gili island hopping, snorkelling, NYE beach club party, nightlife experiences), and group logistics between destinations. Excluded: international flights, visa fee (~INR 3000), airport transfers, personal meals/drinks/shopping, and any add-on experiences you book extra. Basically — the adventure's covered, your personal extras aren't.
Most hotels/villas have decent WiFi, though it can be patchy on Gili T. We highly recommend grabbing a local SIM (Telkomsel or XL) on arrival — around IDR 100,000-150,000 (~USD 7-10) for a generous data package that covers all three destinations well. Airport counters and small shops everywhere sell them.
Local transport (private vehicles/boats between destinations for group activities) is included as part of the itinerary. Gili T itself has no motorized vehicles — you'll walk, cycle, or take a horse cart (cidomo), which is part of the fun! For solo exploring outside the itinerary, taxis/scooter rentals are cheap but at your own cost.
Bali is very tourist-friendly and generally safe. Usual precautions apply — watch your belongings in crowded areas, don't flash valuables, and be careful with scooters if you rent one. Your ExCo trip lead will be with the group throughout and is your first point of contact for any issue. We'll also share local emergency numbers and nearest hospital info for each destination before departure.
This is wet season in Bali — expect warm, humid days around 27-31°C with occasional short, heavy showers (usually afternoon/evening, rarely all-day). Ubud tends to be slightly cooler and greener, Uluwatu and Gili T stay sunny between showers. Don't let 'wet season' scare you — most days still have plenty of sun for beach time and photos.
This is a pretty chill activity level — nothing extreme. You'll be cycling on mostly flat island roads, snorkelling (easy, floatation gear provided), some walking during island hopping, and a jungle ATV ride (thrilling but you're driving/riding, not hiking). If you can walk 2-3 km comfortably and aren't averse to a little sun and sweat, you're good to go.
Alcohol isn't included in the edition price (personal drinks are on you), but Bali's nightlife is legendary — especially Gili T's beach bars and Uluwatu's sunset spots. Local Bintang beer is cheap (~USD 2), and the NYE beach club party will have drinks available for purchase. Not a drinker? No pressure, plenty of people enjoy the trip alcohol-free too.
Absolutely, Bali is very veg-friendly! Ubud especially is a haven for vegetarian, vegan, and health-conscious food — think smoothie bowls, tempeh dishes, and organic cafes everywhere. Gili T and Uluwatu also have solid veg options at every restaurant. Let us know your preferences in advance so we can flag good spots on the itinerary.
Light breathable clothing, swimwear, a light rain jacket (Dec-Jan is wet season, expect short tropical showers), comfortable walking/hiking shoes for ATV and jungle stuff, flip-flops, reef-safe sunscreen, mosquito repellent, a dry bag for island hopping, and a power adapter (Type C/F, 230V). Also pack a nice outfit for the NYE beach club party!
Think of an extra USD 250-400 for the whole trip. This covers your international flights, visa (~INR 3000), airport transfers, personal meals not included, drinks/alcohol, shopping, and any add-on experiences like extra water sports or spa days. Bali is affordable — a beer is ~USD 2-3, street food meals ~USD 3-5, so daily personal spends are manageable.
Yes, Indonesia requires a Visa on Arrival for Indian passport holders. It costs around INR 3000 and is processed right at the airport when you land — usually takes 15-20 mins if you have cash/card ready. Keep your passport valid for 6+ months from arrival date. We'll share the exact counter/process details closer to the trip.
