We design each edition around the destination rather than using a standard tour template. The usual rhythm is one or two experiences a day, with room to take the place in instead of rushing through a checklist.

Yes. Anyone aged 18 or older can apply. Our groups often skew from the late 20s to early 40s, but fit, energy and the experience itself matter more than fitting a narrow age band.

Alcohol isn't included in the package price, but it's widely available and affordable — local Lion Beer runs about ₹350-500, and cocktails at beach bars in Mirissa or Galle are around ₹600-900. Totally optional, so budget separately if you'd like a few drinks in the evenings. No one's required to drink, and there's plenty to enjoy either way.

Included: all the listed experiences (surf lessons, snorkeling, Galle Fort hunt, Ella train, Little Adam's Peak hike, tea-plucking, cooking class, Ayurvedic spa afternoon), accommodation, most meals, and intercity transport. Not included: international flights to/from Colombo, your Sri Lanka ETA (free, we send the link), travel insurance, a few open lunches for you to explore solo, personal spends, and any optional add-ons.

Yes — grab a local SIM at Colombo airport on arrival (Dialog or Mobitel, around ₹500-800 for a tourist data pack with 10-20GB, valid for your whole trip). Coverage is solid even in Ella and Kandy's tea hills. Most hotels and cafes also have decent WiFi, though it can slow down in more remote estate stays — nothing that'll cut you off completely.

It's all sorted for you — private AC vehicle transfers between Colombo, Galle, and Mirissa (about 2.5-3 hours total), and the iconic Ella scenic train from the hill country leg, one of the most scenic rail journeys anywhere. Within towns, you'll mostly walk or hop in tuk-tuks (cheap — ₹100-300 for short rides) for casual exploring on your open time.

Sri Lanka is one of the safer South Asian destinations for travelers — petty theft is rare, and locals are famously helpful. That said, we'll share your local ExCo trip lead's number and a 24/7 emergency contact on day one, plus the nearest hospitals in each city. Always keep photocopies (digital + physical) of your passport and ETA approval. Standard travel precautions apply: don't flash valuables, use registered tuk-tuks/cabs at night.

February is peak season for a reason — it's dry season on the south/west coast (Colombo, Galle, Mirissa), with temps around 28-32°C and minimal rain, perfect for surfing and beach days. Up in Ella and Kandy's hill country, expect cooler, fresher air — 18-24°C, sometimes misty mornings. Pack layers so you're covered for both.

This one's rated Activity Level 2 out of 5 — relaxed pace, no serious fitness required. The surf lessons are beginner-friendly (that's why Weligama's famous for it), the Little Adam's Peak hike is about 30-45 minutes on a gentle, well-marked trail, and the tea-estate walk is easy, flat terrain. If you can walk briskly for 20-30 minutes without getting winded, you're set.

Not at all — Sri Lankan food is one of the easiest cuisines for vegetarians and vegans. Rice and curry meals almost always come with 4-5 vegetable curries, dhal, and coconut sambol as standard, and jackfruit curry is a local vegan staple. Our cooking class and village lunch can be fully veg/vegan on request — just flag it when you join. Alcohol is easily available (Lion Beer is the local favorite) but entirely optional — no pressure either way.

Light, breathable clothes for the coast (Galle, Mirissa) and a light jacket or hoodie for Ella and Kandy's cooler tea-country evenings — it can dip to 18-20°C there at night. Bring swimwear, quick-dry clothes for the surf lessons and snorkeling, comfy walking shoes for the Little Adam's Peak hike, and one smart-casual outfit for dinners. Don't forget reef-safe sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, a light rain jacket (Feb can have brief showers), and power adapters (Type G/D).

Plan for your round-trip flights to Colombo (₹15,000-30,000 from most Indian cities depending on when you book), travel insurance (~₹1,500-2,500), and personal spends. On the ground, budget roughly ₹8,000-12,000 for the trip for the open lunches, drinks, souvenirs, and any optional add-ons like extra spa treatments or surf gear rentals. Sri Lanka is affordable — a good meal is ₹400-800, a beer is ₹350-500.
